Horrible - I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt that I had to for this hotel, especially since I wish I had known what I know now after staying here. After checking in, I had a decent dinner and slept ok, but then I was woken up early in the morning by about 10 or 15 people that started yelling through bullhorns on the sidewalk outside of the hotel. At first I thought it was some kind of rally or a union thing, but then realized that there is some kind of clinic for women next door. They were yelling all sorts of mean and nasty things at anyone coming in to the parking area of the building. I tried to sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee and the nice warm sunrise, but I could not stand the constant shouting and what appeared to be harsh bullying of everyone that came down the street. It was terrible to listen to and watch.
I even tried to block out the noise with music on my ipod and headphones, but I could still hear them. I called the front desk and they were not very helpful, but offered to move me to a room that faced the busy street instead of the mountain view, which I did not want. The big story at breakfast amongst all of my colleagues was how everyone was awoken by the annoying continuous shouting of the people outside and that they ruined the beauty of the hotel and view, so I wasn’t the only one. This bullhorn noise and yelling woke me up every day of my visit. A couple of my colleagues who went for walk around the block after breakfast came back and said it was like a freak show and many of them had nasty signs with bloody images, Jesus and sin and even bloody baby dolls hanging from trees up and down the street. Many of my coworkers had also complained to the hotel but no one at the hotel cared to do anything about it, although one of the front desk people did say they would call the local police. Another hotel employee told us that the people that were out there yelling were anti-birth control and anti-abortion protesters and they are out there almost every day of the month, have been there for years and that everyone complained about them, but that the city or county didn’t seem to want to do anything. It didn’t really seem like anyone, even the manager of the hotel, even cared. Two local Denver sheriff/police cars and an SUV showed up on at least two separate occasions, but they did not do anything about the protesters or noise, just chatted with some security guards in the parking lot for a while and then left.
I was looking forward to staying the weekend to check out things to do in the Denver area, but even MORE of these loud people were out there just after 7:00 am on SATURDAY, and one of them was even blowing loud noises through a trumpet! That was it for me! I took a shower, packed up and left to go to another hotel, since my flight wasn’t until Monday. The hotel never apologized or anything to any of us.
My company routinely books all of us at Renaissance hotels, but after we returned to work and told the rest of the office and our corporate travel agent about our experience, they all agreed this would be our last stay at this hotel brand. At least the travel agent apologized and gave us some credit back.
If you are looking for a place to stay with a nice view of the Denver mountains, find someplace else because they obviously don’t do anything about the constant daily yelling and screaming outside at this hotel or this part of the city.

Horrible - Pamela Wheeler - room accomodations unsafe, damaged and unclean. the only entrance is a sliding glass door which is locked with a chain. the bathroom window wouldn't close letting in cold air and safety issue. the bath tub fixture was missing and there was a hole in the bath tub, the shower head was pulled from the wall, there was a board under the sink, a hole in the wall, dirt on the carpet and head board, no 3 prong plug for the internet and none of the connections worked for wireless internet. I contacted the mgr to get a refund since the photos online did not accurately represent the room, she refused.
